As we move into the holiday season, I wanted to once again thank everyone who supported the South Street Seaport Museum over the past year. This support is what allows us to grow as an organization and to continue to provide fantastic cultural and educational opportunities to our community. The return of the tugboat W. O. Decker was certainly the highlight of this year’s sailing season and made a lasting impression on our visitors.
We have big plans for the future of the Seaport Museum in the coming year. In 2020 it is our goal to re-open a portion of the Museum’s gallery space, revitalize our schooner Pioneer, and expand our public program offerings. These efforts, and countless others, are being spearheaded by the staff and volunteers here at the Seaport Museum, and are made possible thanks to donations from friends like you. As we look forward towards next year and beyond, your support will be instrumental in the continued success of our organization.
With all of these wonderful initiatives to look forward to in 2020, I kindly ask that you show your support for the Seaport Museum. Your contribution is vital for the continued health and success of this crucial piece of New York history.
I look forward to seeing you soon at South Street.
