The impact of COVID-19 on our city is devastating. For the Seaport Museum and its people, the effect is immediate; we anticipate that operating revenues in 2020 will be roughly half of what was expected. We have already taken dramatic corrective action, laying off some staff and either furloughing or reducing pay for the remainder. Like many of our sister institutions, we have had to make very hard choices in order to keep the Museum intact, specifically so that we can rebuild it. Your engagement in our work, your support of our work, is as critical as it has ever been.
Until we get to see you again in person, please consider a generous donation to support our work. Your support at any level will be instrumental to the Museum in reemerging from this unparalleled time. Help us to continue telling the story—through the Seaport Museum’s historic buildings, ships, and collections—of the birthplace of the city we love.
