We’re excited to announce Brian Floca’s return to the Seaport Museum for a special reading of his award-winning book, Lightship! Join this bestselling author/illustrator for FROM BOOK TO BOAT, a presentation on the creation of his book LIGHTSHIP, which celebrates ten years in print this March. Brian will share slides and stories about his inspiration — the South Street Seaport Museum’s own lightship Ambrose — and the process of researching, writing, and illustrating a picture book. Q&A and drawings will follow the presentation.
