January 21, 22 | 1-5pm | In-Person | 12 Fulton Street | Free
Celebrate the Lunar New Year all weekend long with the Seaport Museum’s maritime-inspired spin on a Chinese Lion Chain craft. Come create your own, unique lion chain decoration using paper links inspired by the colorful signal flags that sailors use to communicate. This fun-filled activity is in partnership with the New York Chinese Cultural Center. Weather permitting, this activity may be moved to the climate-controlled crew quarters on tall ship Wavertree for additional maritime spirit.
This event is free, but please let us know that you’re coming by registering. Be sure to review the latest COVID-19 protocols.
