South Street Seaport Museum is home to a fleet of historic ships including the 1885 tall ship Wavertree, the 1908 lightship Ambrose, the 1930 tugboat W.O. Decker, and the 1885 schooner Pioneer.

1885 Tall Ship Wavertree

Visit the flagship of the Museum's fleet and learn how people worked and lived aboard a 19th century cargo sailing vessel—from the captain to the ship’s officers, cooks, and crew.

1908 Lightship Ambrose

Tour multiple decks of this National Historic Landmark to see the living and working spaces once inhabited by sailors, as well as the special features that allow the ship to fulfill its mission. Tours are free with a General Admission tickets but selection of timed-entry is required.
